Children, young people and women are at increased risk of poor social, economic and
health outcomes. They face structural and health challenges that could impact their
future social, economic and health outcomes. Research is key to understanding and
addressing social, economic and health problems. Hence, the transformation of
Evidence to Actions that impact lives is key to addressing these issues. Members of the
organization wish to share their expertise, views and other resources in a way that
enhances utilization of their potentials to the development of the nation as their
contribution towards effective social, economic and health services beginning from now
and for the future generations, hereby establish an organization to be known as “REAL
Transformation Initiative (RTI), Tanzania” and develop this Constitution. RTI stands
for Transforming lives through Research Evidence Generation and Action.
These are individual members whose names appear in the resolution and have facilitated the establishment of the organization and resolutely adhere as paid up members of the organization.
Ordinary membership to the organization shall be open to adult persons who are interested in voluntary and/or charitable work and those committed to the objectives of the organization and join after its establishment.
This kind of membership shall be offered to any person recommended by the Executive Committee and approved by the General Meeting due to his/her contribution on issues concerning the core objectives of the organization. Honorary members shall have no right to vote.
